Jubilee!
We hope everyone is enjoying celebrating the Queen’s diamond jubilee! Today we had a little tea party and watched (the rather soggy) pageant on the Thames. Any excuse to get the bunting out π

A lovely Sunday afternoon in the sunshine, relaxing with some new photographer friends and the awesome Stewart Randall and his crazy Folio Albums roadshow π Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come out!
Yesterday we had a fun time meeting one of our favourite photographers, Jeff Newsom, at a workshop in the gloriously sunny Birmingham.
I can’t believe that only two weeks ago we were in Crete! The current heatwave in the UK does make that fact a little less depressing though π
We’ve had a busy few weeks, full of amazing shoots and meeting lovely people, so our holiday snaps have taken a while to get around to. I’ve already posted lots taken with our iPhones, but here are a handful from our ‘proper camera’.
We went to Crete for a week of lazing in the sunshine π
We are so flipping excited about this!
When we shoot film and there are a couple of frames left I usually go and find Puddington. He is a wonderfully still model π
Last weekend we went to London. For the first time ever we went on the train; no weddings, no meetings, no car full of camera stuff. Just me, my love, my new 5D3 and some friends to meet when we got there (Emma and Ian – the Big Bouquet crew!).
I spent an afternoon photographing cute toys for my Mums new Etsy shop Lucy’s Little Cottage. So much fun!
This is Jen. She’s awesome (she told me to write that).
Oh how we love Instagram!
The Leica 3C was made in 1942; a heavy, solid, fully manual rangefinder which is really rather pretty. Here it is in all its glory…
Me: “Let’s do a photoshoot in the garden”
Lydia: “OK!!”
Pete gave me a Lomokino at Christmas. “What’s a Lomokino Laura, are you just making up words?” I hear you ask.
