Tobiah + Laura’s Portrait Shoot – The Warm Up

This week we scooted off to Staffordshire to hang out with 20 or so of our photographer buddies. It was fantastic for us all to catch up, talk shop and get out from behind our computer screens and take some pictures for fun :-). Photographers extraordinaire Tobiah and Laura volunteered themselves as models – they recently got engaged and are suitably loved up. We’re shooting their (no doubt fabulous) wedding next May, and will actually be doing a portrait session with them in a couple of weeks, so this we are calling the warm up.

I actually can’t get over how easy they are to take pictures of. They rock on so many levels.

  3. Absolutely beautiful. Shockingly beautiful. I knew that would happen – now I’m put off posting mine because I’ve seen yours first. At least there’s evidence I was there if I never get round to it – I made a bit-part appearance on the Lawson’s blog! Tobiah and Laura are lucky indeed to have you photographing their wedding and you’re lucky to be photographing it as they are gorgeous. Envy all round 🙂

  5. These are absolutely stunning guys, Tobiah and Laura are a lovely couple, they shot or wedding back in july and i’m sure they’ll be thrilled with these, they couldn’t have made a better choice in wedding photographers.

    Do you guys ever run your own photography workshop/courses?

    Dan, the 7th image was with an 85L at f1.4
    Emma, that’s the first time someone’s asked us if we do workshops so we’re seriously flattered! We’ve only been shooting for 5/6 years so we’ve a good few years ahead of us before we really know what we’re doing, and can can even think about doing that kind of thing!

    These images are simply beautiful. What amazing light you had but you guys are seriously talented to capture it and make it look so effortless.
    I would love to shadow you both, I think I would learn so much.
