Cuteness overload.
Rav and Dave had an absolute whirlwind of a wedding (well…technically two weddings). They had a Sikh ceremony, a civil ceremony, lots of food, lots of dancing and an excessive amount of snow! They’d travelled over from Oz to have their winter wedding in London with family and friends, and it was a wonderful, joyous and emotional day.
Love these guys! When the snow started to fall a couple of weeks ago we got a phone call from Katie & James, ‘let’s do our photos in the snow!’. Impossible for us to refuse, snow is awesome 🙂
The night before Rav and Dave’s (wonderful) wedding, we battled though the blizzard in London to take pictures of the festivities happening with Ravinder’s family. No quiet meal and early night for this bride; this was a time to sing, dance, eat and celebrate!
In all honesty 2012 is a bit of a blur.
We photographed a bagillion wonderful people. We drove thousands of miles in our little mini. We laughed a lot. We saw more of the world. We ran. We ate a lot of cheese. We spent hours by the fire watching films. We lost weight. We snuggled. We read books. We hoped it wouldn’t rain.
This was our last wedding of 2012, and what a way to finish! We flew over to Ireland, a country we’ve never visited before but always wanted to go, for Andrea & Gavin’s fantastic wintery wedding.
We went to London last weekend and had a fun few days catching up with folk.
I would like to thank Apple (for the iPhone), Canon (for the 5D mk3), and Oyster (for the moves), without whom this post would not have been possible.
Snapshots from the last few months, taken on an Eos 3 with Portra 400 and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.
Our last wedding before Christmas was a beauty! Victoria and Priyan tied the knot at West Tower, on the most beautiful, crisp winter day (talk about LUCKY!).
They were an absolute joy to spend the day with, genuinely radiating happiness wherever they went 🙂
Sez & Tim know how to throw a good party! Aside from all the fantastic homemade details and the fact the Sez & Tim (and family) dressed the venue themselves, this wedding was FUN! Tim has to be one of the coolest grooms to photograph, he pulls off the serious and brooding without ever being…
On Sunday we had the pleasure of going for a little stroll around Rivington for a portrait shoot with Emma & Mark their incredibly cute daughter, Charlotte. It was cold, but we love portrait shoots in the winter – the light is magical! No portrait shoot is complete without a little cry!
Today Jen took some pictures of us on our 9 year anniversary 🙂
We ventured down south a few weeks ago for Sam and Steve’s wonderful, relaxed wedding at Gosfield Hall (which is absolutely stunning!). There’s something so magical about weddings at this time of year; it was an absoulte honour to spend the day with such lovely, funny people.
