Upper House Wedding – Victoria & Matthew

This was our first time photographing a wedding at Upper House, which is an absolute gem of a venue. It’s a former hunting lodge in the Peak District, this place is both grand and cosy. Victoria and Matthew arranged for blankets and candles to be strewn around the courtyard, where guests mingled and enjoyed the lovely weather. We even got another sunset!

Relaxed wedding are our cup of tea, and this wedding was seriously relaxed from start to finish. Even better, everyone drank copious amount of tea! Should there be more cups of tea at weddings?

Once the marrying was done, Victoria and Matt danced the night away with their crazy friends. We don’t think there are enough people doing the worm at weddings! Well, thankfully, our faith in the wedding dancers of the world is restored thanks to these guys!

We loved seeing some of our wedding buddies at this wedding too. Flossy & Leigh made Victoria extra pretty and Sam Fitton wowed us all with amazing magic tricks in the evening. The band played some epic songs too, but we have no idea what they were called! All in all, our first wedding at Upper House was a complete success! More please!
