Suki & Ming’s Pre-Wedding portraits in the Lake District

Last week we enjoyed tea and scones in the Lake District with the lovely Suki & Ming.Β  Before that we went adventuring all around Windermere (taking pictures as we went), where we found swans, ice cream, and many a jetty.

There was quite a lot of pressure as soon as we found out that Ming had flown in from Hong Kong just for the portrait shoot!Β  He’d seen a film set in Windermere and fallen in love with the place, we hope we captured it for you, Ming!

  5. Wow, now that is some collection of wedding portraits. Beautiful setting, love the Lake District! Great point of view and perspective from Pete on the jetty…

  6. Those swans are totally vicious… glad you survived to finish the shoot! Lovely pictures, like the one of (presumably) Pete on his belly – nicely surreal and well worth the results! Ones on the boat are great too, especially in front of the stairs. And the ‘woody’ ones are nicely atmospheric.

  8. I can’t even express how awesome you two are, bride and groom as well! It’s amazing to have watched you grow as photographers through your blog and see how your personal style has really developed and you’ve stayed true to that style. I feel I’m still sometimes finding my own. Superb!

  9. I totally love this set – especially the ice cream picture, and the ones by the waterfront with the tilt shift effect. The lighting is awesome on the shots down by the boats too. Inspired guys! πŸ˜€
