Portrait Shoot in the Yorkshire Dales
We don’t do many family portrait sessions anymore, but they are great fun when you have a family as lovely as Mel, Bev, Martin & Andy!

These guys! They’d just flown in from Australia and you can see they brought a little sunshine of their own with them. By which I mean those fabulous tans. I want one, I haven’t seen the sun in weeks!!

Helen is one of Laura’s very oldest friends (as in, they’ve known each other from high school, not that she’s really old!), so as soon as she had a baby, we knew we absolutely had to do a portrait shoot! Heading down the the beautiful surroundings of Rivington (how we’d love a little cottage here!),…

From the moment Jenny & Sam’s little one got out the car she was full of smiles and cheekiness, so we knew this was going to be a fun shoot! We had a little wander around Rivington for these portraits, our own little local Lake District, always so nice to get away from the editing…

The last shoot we posted was of this lovely family, and now they’re back – the bump turned into a baby! So lovely to hang out with Kate & Hugo again, and their new arrival is just adorable. We had to try really hard not to get broody!!

Kate & Hugo and their growing brood came up to Rivington for a lovely wintery portrait shoot. Kate also brought along her lovely baby bump! So cute! We did another shoot a couple of months later featuring the new baby too 🙂

Nicky & Rick are just about the nicest and most beautiful people you could hope to meet. We ventured out to Beacon Fell to go exploring and photograph them looking all loved up before their wedding.

Aww, great images! I love the shot of the four of them together with the river in the background – I’m sure it will be looked at for years to come.
Fantastic! I love that little quad sequence where Mum & Dad are kissing and the two lads don’t know what to do with themselves, poignant, hilarious and heart warming in equal measures. Love the compositional styling throughout as well.
