Some nice things…

Here are some nice things which have happened recently and we forgot to blog about!

I think Kirsty and Chris are the first couple we’ve photographed who met through kick boxing! After such a romantic start to a relationship, I’m sure none of their friends were surprised to end up at their wedding last weekend at Bagden Hall.
Cosy, informal, and fun describe their day perfectly. No kicking either. Autumn weddings rock!

I recently got my hands on a Diana F+ and related paraphernalia; it’s everything you’d expect from a toy camera – FUN!

Ah how we love an autumnal wedding!
Hayley and Rob are wonderful, funny, smiley people who are just so lovely to be around. It was a relaxed affair at Nunsmere Hall, complete with freak sunshine, beautiful details and a bridal hairdo so fabulous it made me want to jump up and down.
Our day began with Hayley at a magical cabin in the woods…

We shot this footage almost a year ago with the fabulous Simon Fazackarley and finally got around to editing it this weekend.
What’s the whole deal about this Fazasons thing I hear you ask. Well… for now it’s three buddies running around in a field – but it would make an awesome band name!

Autumn colours are so pretty. As is my lovely wife, of course!

You can’t be happier than Hayley…

We had a couple of wedding free weeks and decided to scoot over to Pete’s parents place in Burgundy for the last of the summer sunshine. We didn’t actually take that many pictures (for us I mean, not for regular humans), but here they are…

Michelle doesn’t do things by halves, I mean check out the invitation…

A few days into any holiday and we get bored.
“Let’s do a portrait shoot of each other in the woods!” said Pete.
“Good idea! Let’s wear Christmas jumpers and our glasses!” said Laura.

I just stumbled upon these photos in my wallet – mementos of a wonderful evening a few weeks ago (taken by the lovely Annabel of Love My Dress on her fancy pants Fuji Instax mini. WANT ONE!). It was a gathering of fabulous people in London town, hosted by the gals from blog extraordinaire Any…

Kristina & Jon’s wedding was lovely! We’d never been to Singleton Lodge before, even though we drive past it every time we visit Laura’s parents. It’s the perfect venue for a country wedding, there’s even real live horses on the way in. We also had some lovely blue skies, yet again! We had something of…

We were so excited to shoot our first civil partnership, and Nick and Phill did not disappoint us! The venue, Ruthin Castle, is a really beautiful place. There are grand bits (chandeliers and such), rustic bits (medieval walls and gardens) and even a mini forest (by the car park, we always fall in love with…
