Emma & Darren’s Wedding at the Isla Gladstone
Emma & Darren are two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, this was how their guests described them to us! They currently live in Oz but wanted to come back home to get married surrounded by all their family and friends at a fabulously chilled and fun party.
We had already shot Emma’s sister’s wedding back in 2007 (before our own wedding!) and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces – sadly they were pre-blog so we don’t have a link 🙁
Despite planning the wedding from another country, Emma and Darren had still managed to arrange amazing details with zesty floral colours, personalised speech bubble placecards (you’ll see), and a trip to Goodison Park.
The Isla Gladstone is an amazing venue too, we’d never been here before but wow! It was stunning, and perfectly complimented those zesty colours and the mini summer we were having a couple of weeks ago.
Here are some of our favourites from the day:

Thanks for such an amazing day, Emma & Darren! Congratulations xx

Wow, awesome photo’s, and the speech bubbles are a great idea!
Fantastic!
Beautiful coverage. Absolutely top class, I love it!
This is what happens when you have two amazing wedding photographers at the very top of their game. Just brilliant.
beautiful light at this venue!
I am always so thrilled with your shots guys! just love how beautiful and cheerful people look on your pics! and the quality is outstanding as usual 🙂
Just so beautiful guys! You captured EVERYTHING beautifully. They will be ecstatic!
Another Lawson wedding blog post. What can I expect? Great, inventive coverage – check. Wonderful emotions, perfectly captured – check. A sense of how simply brilliant it was to be at the wedding – check. All present and correct. Carry on.
Amazing! I love it. And many great moments. Did you use here the contax?
Nice work! They look so happy together. The shot of the bridesmaid going towards the bandstand is class.
I love all your work, but this has to be one of my favourite sets of your wedding images yet. Beautiful use of light and composition as always. I love how much atmosphere you manage to pack into the little moments like the flower girls watching TV in the morning, not to mention doing complete justice to the gorgeous couple and setting throughout the images.
