Love My Dress Soiree

We were so excited to attend the Love My Dress Soiree last week; a fabulous event in Newcastle put together by the lovely wedding blogger extraordinaire, Annabel.  We got to meet lots of people we didn’t know, lots of people we know on Twitter but have never seen their real life faces of, and lots of people we already know and had a good catch up with!

Ever feel like someone is following you?  Ah yes, that would be the Tayos, our road trip buddies…

Pit stop for coffee…

One of our new film cameras (you’ll have to wait to see what we did with it – that’s the thing about film!)…

Tobiah and Laura (behind giant bag of crisps!)…

They like T4 and Yop yoghurt drinks 🙂

We stayed at Hotel Du Vin, which was fab.  Gorgeous rooms, great friendly service and amazing food!

I wore…

I think Pete should wear a bow tie every day!

Tobiah’s shoes are v cool…

Tobiah took these pictures but I’ve stomped our logo on them.  That’s what happens when you use our camera 🙂

Right these are ours 🙂

The venue!  So cool…

We were having far too much fun mingling, drinking cocktails and enjoying tasty treats to take many pictures, but here are a few…

When’s the next one? 🙂

Go check out Annabel’s preview of the event!

  • Walking with Rosie

Last week we took a break from hibernating in front of our computer screens and went for a wander with our friend Rosie.  For once it wasn’t raining (hurrah!); armed with our cameras and a couple of cosy hats we ventured into the hills.  Good times 🙂

  • Man of the woods

Albert loves being outside.  We decided to make the most of this lovely weather we’ve been having and go exploring in the woods at Beacon Fell.  Such a gorgeous, peaceful place (even more so in the sunshine!).

  • Laura

This is my friend Laura.  We met on the first day of high school (“hi my name’s Laura” “No WAY so’s MINE!”) and bonded over our love of stationery, Clueless, making up dances, and our entrepreneurial spirit (we made a fortune selling decorative objects made of salt dough at school fetes).  Here are some pictures I…

  • Just Us

In the down time before ‘wedding season’ is in full swing we are enjoying having lots of fun play time with Albert.  He loves being outside, marvelling at the trees and the sounds of the birds; we are going to have so much fun this summer when he can totter around and really explore! If…

People ask us all the time if we…

  1. Oh guys, I cannot thank you enough for coming, I was so excited about meeting you, and then I barely got a chance to speak!! I was so conscious that I needed to work the room and try to talk to as many people as I could, even if it was just to say hi and get a hug 🙂

These photographs are beautiful and exquisite, you are one fine looking lot! Jeeeeez Louise!!! ;)))

Thank you so so much for making the effort to be there, it means the absolute world to me.

I hope you will be at the next one!! 😉

    Huge love,

    Annabel xXx
