  • Hello there and welcome to our blog! This is where we post snippets of all our latest work. Pretty much everything we shoot ends up here on our blog - portraits, weddings, all the good stuff! Have a good rummage around if you're feeling nosey :-)

This is us to the right - looking suitably loved up. We're rather easy to tell apart, Pete's the one with the beard.

Lois & John’s Wedding at the Belle Epoque

Lois and John’s wedding was delightful. The ceremony took place at St Oswald’s Church in Lower Peover , a really lovely old church with a resident cat who watched it all unfold (and tried to get in on the group shot!). Special mention must go to the particularly lovely vicar who made sure I had a good spot and that I was a ‘happy bunny’ :-)

It just so happened that Lois and John shared their wedding with Knutsford Carnival. Although this meant that the logistics of getting to The Belle Epoque were a little more tricky, when we did arrive we were treated to a bunting filled street – I LOVE bunting!

Kim & John’s Portrait Shoot in Rivington

Ten minutes away from our house is the magical wonderland of Rivington. It’s our favourite place, and our first thought when anyone asks where a good location for a shoot would be.

Kim and John are having a fabulous city wedding this summer, it’s going to be AMAZING!

Humphry is awesome!

Yet another great set of images from Team Lawson. Those individual portraits are stunning.

Felicity & Jonathan’s Wedding at Thornton Manor

A joyous and fun filled day sprinkled with excessively pretty details – it doesn’t get better!

Felicity and Jon are lovely, funny people and it was genuinely just nice to hang out with them for the day. ‘Queen of the schedule’ Felicity had organised everything to perfection, and despite a rather changeable weather forecast the sun even shone, not sure how she managed that! Gold Louboutins, ice cream, AMAZING flowers and Thornton Manor…brilliant :-)

LOVE that church interior! Beautifully plain, and wonderfully shot. Then the amazing contrast with the opulence of Thornton Manor. Great!

What an incredible set of images – fantastic couple and guests, great atmosphere, wonderful locations and details but most of all some serious photographic skill. Congrats! x

The photographs tell the whole story. What a wounderfull story and a great day.

Holly & Martin’s Wedding at Shelley Church & Rudding Park

Holly and Martin are brilliant.

Holly = funny, energetic and endlessly expressive. She’s a whirlwind. I want to have as much fun as Holly does.

Martin = calm, caring and endlessly surprising. I say that because half an hour before the speeches he told me he was nervous; by the end of his speech everyone was in tears. Half an hour before the first dance he told me he was nervous; pretty soon after he was in a dance -off.

Some fantastic photos and you wouldn’t notice that it was a rainy day unless you were there. Yung had so much more than his robot moves, but I think he was so tired he was just stuck in the groove.
