We ventured down south a few weeks ago for Sam and Steve’s wonderful, relaxed wedding at Gosfield Hall (which is absolutely stunning!). There’s something so magical about weddings at this time of year; it was an absoulte honour to spend the day with such lovely, funny people.

When I started in this industry, there were a number of people I looked up to. They stood head and shoulders above the crowd. They spurred me on.
Now, some five years later, I think to myself I may be getting close to what they can achieve and then I see a wedding photographed like this.
Part of me is disheartened because, deep inside, I think why couldn’t I do this. Part of me is elated because frankly, my hunch on two people, five years ago, was right.
I will always be inspired by Pete and Laura’s work.
Not simply because it’s so beautifully crafted (the tonality, the colours and so on) but because the photographs themselves hold something that cannot be gotten back. Time.
It is the joy, the happiness, the laughter, the tears…it is everything…..and on such a unique day, it is so very important not to miss that.
The bride….wow…is absolutely stunning and so, so beautiful….from her dress, to her smile…..just gorgeous.
I am a man of many words but always speechless when I see such beautiful, beautiful photographs of such an obviously wonderful occassion.
What matters most in life are the people we love and the memories of them. Without them, what is the point.
