  • Walking with Rosie

Last week we took a break from hibernating in front of our computer screens and went for a wander with our friend Rosie.  For once it wasn’t raining (hurrah!); armed with our cameras and a couple of cosy hats we ventured into the hills.  Good times 🙂

  • Man of the woods

Albert loves being outside.  We decided to make the most of this lovely weather we’ve been having and go exploring in the woods at Beacon Fell.  Such a gorgeous, peaceful place (even more so in the sunshine!).

  • Laura

This is my friend Laura.  We met on the first day of high school (“hi my name’s Laura” “No WAY so’s MINE!”) and bonded over our love of stationery, Clueless, making up dances, and our entrepreneurial spirit (we made a fortune selling decorative objects made of salt dough at school fetes).  Here are some pictures I…

  • Just Us

In the down time before ‘wedding season’ is in full swing we are enjoying having lots of fun play time with Albert.  He loves being outside, marvelling at the trees and the sounds of the birds; we are going to have so much fun this summer when he can totter around and really explore! If…

People ask us all the time if we…

  1. Wow! Super picks of a place I know well!
This is about half an hour away from my parents house in Burgundy… We have a place in Le Maupas near Saulieu and Arnay Le Duc..

Where abouts is it that you stayed?!

  2. That looks like the most comfortable hospital…until you scroll down to those scary looking utensils and remember that pain relief wasn’t the same in those days!!! Cool trip!

  3. My parents have a place in Culles-les-Roches, about 30 minutes from Chalon-sur-Saône. I think Beaune’s probably right in the middle of us – let us know if you want to meet up next time you’re on holiday there!

  4. Hey Pete!

That’s lovely, I recognise the name of both of those places. There is some extremely amazing places around there for portraits. Have you been to Lac Settons?

Ah! I would love to shoot there!
We could well arrange a trip around or before Christmas. Will you be visiting again before 2012? Rhoddy and I would love to meet you both 🙂
