Hannah & Dave’s Wedding at the Inn at Whitewell

 

I have a little bit of a man crush on Dave because he said that I shouldn’t be worried about my receeding hairline as I had everything else going for me 🙂

Maybe I should leave it there? But that would be a little unfair to Hannah, who designed everything and made a lot of it for their wedding – and what a beautiful job she did of it all! I can’t imagine quite how much work it was!

We started the day in Preston before moving on to the pub and then the gorgeous Church – St John the Baptist in Preston. We’d never been there before and we didn’t expect to find such an idlyic spot just off the motorway! Plus we were allowed to take pictures – which is always a positive.

After the rather emotional ceremony, everyone moved over to the Inn at Whitewell for the reception, yet another beautiful spot (we do love our trees). This is where Hannah had really gone to town with all the little details.

The irrepressible Howard Wing performed in the meal and evening, getting the whole room up dancing, and just generally bringing the party. Excellent work Mr Wing 🙂

Gorgeous flowers were supplied by the ever brilliant Flower Design.

What else to say? Hannah and Dave were a pleasure to spend the day with, as was everyone we managed to speak to. Such a fabulous day!
