Assistant Pete!
While we both think of ourselves as the ‘main photographer’ I also find my lovely husband Pete to be a fabulous assistant at weddings, he gets me diet coke from the bar, passes me lenses (when not trying to steal them) and holds the reflector when I need some instant sunshine :-) When our fellow photographer friend Tobiah was in need of a wingman for the wedding he was shooting this weekend, Pete jumped at the chance to tag along.
It was very strange for Pete to be out at a wedding without me, and even stranger to look through all the pictures this morning completely objectively. He has a wonderful ability to capture the joy at weddings, looking through them I really feel like I know these people! He’ll be blogging lots of pictures from the day soon, but for now here’s a shot of Lindsay and Roy that I loved instantly while looking through…

Gorgeous Photo! Love how the door leads you in! Pete is such a brilliant guy to work with. Soooo helpful, so nice and so good at working with the bride and groom. Can’t say enough how much I appreciate him coming to help me at this wedding and only hope that one day I will be able to return this massive favour.
Looking forward to see more of the photographs he took. So good to see them processed by someone else and taken from a different angle. To see someone else’s interpretation. Very cool.

Absolutely gorgeous! However, I feel rather outdone by Phill in trying to convey how much I love it! My sentiments, however, are just as great. 🙂
