Andrea + Gareth’s Wedding at West Tower

Last Saturday we were at the fabulous West Tower in Aughton once again for Andrea & Gareth’s wedding.  We love the West Tower and Andrea & Gareth are a really lovely couple so we were very much looking forward to the day – we weren’t disappointed!  In fact, we even got some sun and British Summer Time has given us another whole extra hour of daylight in which to play!

Andrea was so happy and radient in the morning – you would not have thought she’d been up since 3am!

Love this moment with her dad, so cute! Gareth is one of those people who can make anyone feel at ease: The ceremony was held at the stunning Bishop Eton Church.  It was an absolute pleasure to photograph there, not only was the priest absolutely lovely to us, but they also had daylight balanced lights (the photographers out there will know what I mean!). One of my favourites: Love this shot, guest starring the lovely Mark from AWS cars who we can’t recommend highly enough if you want a beautiful modern wedding car.  We grabbed Andrea & Gareth for a quick 15 mins of portrait related fun: I’m not sure who started this?! Pretty glasses 🙂

As it was Grand National day,  Andrea & Gareth bought everyone a bet on the race… and Laura won £16!  Thanks guys!! Gareth’s best men were trying to translate their north-eastern accents into something the mainly Merseyside based crowd could understand.  This involved a long haired wig and at one point, a car radio.  While I salute their bravery, I would caution that mocking a scouser is not a wise move!

The first dance was awesome, as were the band – The Funtime Frankies Congratulations Andrea & Gareth!  Thank you for letting us be a part of your day, and have a fab honeymoon!
