A Girls Day Out

When the lovely Michelle from Pocket Full Of Dreams asked if I wanted to go on a girls pamper day, along with Rebecca Norris and Annabel Love My Dress,  I could hardly contain my excitement.

Michelle doesn’t do things by halves, I mean check out the invitation…

Amazing right?

The day began (after a cuppa and catch up) with a bit of pampering at the Clarins Skin Spa in the Trafford Centre Selfridges.  Being greeted with champagne and strawberries and yummy cupcakes was a good start 🙂

A few hours later we were all relaxed after our fab facials 🙂

Spa highlights:  The lemon cupcake, the super relaxing facial, us all finding out we have lumpy arms from too much typing and Stuart from Big Brother 9 randomly popping up and taking this snap of us…

After a quick change and a bit more champers we headed off to Australasia for dinner.  Amazing place.

It’s basically underground with a random staircase popping up in the street. Pretty darn cool!

Yummy food and lots of unique cocktails…

A massive thank you to the girls for a wonderfully relaxing day and for being such wonderful company, and an extra special thank you to Michelle for organising, you’re brill!  XXXXX

  • Walking with Rosie

Last week we took a break from hibernating in front of our computer screens and went for a wander with our friend Rosie.  For once it wasn’t raining (hurrah!); armed with our cameras and a couple of cosy hats we ventured into the hills.  Good times 🙂

  • Man of the woods

Albert loves being outside.  We decided to make the most of this lovely weather we’ve been having and go exploring in the woods at Beacon Fell.  Such a gorgeous, peaceful place (even more so in the sunshine!).

  • Laura

This is my friend Laura.  We met on the first day of high school (“hi my name’s Laura” “No WAY so’s MINE!”) and bonded over our love of stationery, Clueless, making up dances, and our entrepreneurial spirit (we made a fortune selling decorative objects made of salt dough at school fetes).  Here are some pictures I…

  • Just Us

In the down time before ‘wedding season’ is in full swing we are enjoying having lots of fun play time with Albert.  He loves being outside, marvelling at the trees and the sounds of the birds; we are going to have so much fun this summer when he can totter around and really explore! If…
