Second Shooting With Tobiah Tayo – Lindsey + Roy

Tobiah’s girlfriend, and usual assistant, was ill and unable to make it to this wedding (a photographer’s worst nightmare!), but us wedding photographers are a surprisingly friendly lot and we’re always willing to help each other out so I was very happy to volunteer.

It been about 5 years since I last had the chance to second shoot with someone, but it’s something I’d highly recommend!  Seeing how a different photographer works, and even just shooting without the pressure of being the main photographer, is incredibly educational.  Now my main job for the day was to hold bags, pass lenses, and hold off camera flashes, but I did find some time to take pictures too.  There are loads (and loads) of pictures posted over on Tobiah’s blog here but I had to post some of my favourites from the day:

A few days after the wedding, an exciting package arrived in the post from Tobiah – chocolate!!  Always a crowd pleaser.
