6 years ago, we got married!

Our wedding day was wonderful.  I laughed, I cried, I drank champagne.  I wore a pretty dress and chatted to my favourite people.  I danced, I ate bacon butties and kissed my love hundreds of times.

 

But it wasn’t the best day of my life.

 

Today I woke up snuggled next to my best friend.  I kicked him to wake him up, it was his turn to make tea.  He refused to move for five minutes and demanded cuddles, just like he does every time it’s his turn.

“Good morning Bertie” we say to our little bump.

“Good morning Pudding” we say to our furry companion.

 

This is the best day.  Just a Wednesday.  Snuggled in our bed in our little house with our cups of tea and our family.

 

Happy anniversary husband.
