Suzanne + Lee’s Wedding at Rivington Hall Barn
We had a lovely time on Friday photographing Suzanne and Lee’s big day. The ceremony was held at St Gregory’s at Weld Bank (the oldest parish in Chorley and a really beautiful building), followed by a reception at one of our favourites venues, Rivington Hall Barn. These two met at university (they lived in the same halls) and have been together ever since. Lee’s family had a crazy journey up from Essex the day before, full of roadworks and motorway standstills, but luckily they made it eventually and the day itself went without a hitch!
Here are some favourites from their day, starting with champagne at the salon…

Here’s the lovely bride Suzanne, getting the full works!

A few tummy flips but otherwise a calm morning!

Pete went to see how Lee was doing…

I love these next two!

Meanwhile us girls had moved on from the salon…

I love this one…

Pretty church!

A sweet moment between groom and best man 🙂

Ceremony time!

When we arrived at Rivington we had a little jaunt into some trees with the newlyweds…

We were greeted by the really lovely toastmaster Peter Aust, who was a pleasure to have around and went above and beyond the call of duty. After a slight panic over a missing guestbook, Peter came to the rescue (he had some blank guestbooks in his car just in case!)…

While guests were enjoying a few canapes and a mingle…

…I went to check out the barn, which looked AMAZING!

The cake was a masterpiece!

Suzanne and Lee…

Janet (mother of the bride)…

…and George (father of the bride), who as director of Haydock Slating does a lot of this sort of thing!

I love this red sparkly curtain 🙂

Lee asked for a few pictures inspired by the Sopranos, loving the serious faces!

First dance action…

Congratulations Suzanne and Lee! x
