Thank you for stopping by our blog! We are Pete and Laura - this is us to the left, looking suitably loved up. We're quite easy to tell apart, Pete has a beard and Laura doesn't.

We're obsessed with taking pictures. Our favourite pictures are when there's some real emotion involved. We don't really care about pretty buildings and fields (well, within reason - some are very pretty), give us a newly married couple that want to have a kiss and a cuddle and we can take pictures all day! Which is convenient, given our choice of job!

This blog is where you can see sneak previews of recent weddings, portrait shoots, and any exciting news about us. We hope you enjoy looking!

Featured on love my dress

We’re very excited to have a wedding featured on Love My Dress.  When we got married I remember Laura being surrounded with wedding magazines (piles of them!) but now there are so many amazing wedding blogs that I’m not sure it’s necessary anymore!  Love My Dress is a treasure trove of ideas and highly worth checking out if you’re in need of inspiration or just want to look at pretty things!

There are two parts to the feature (we feel honoured!), part 1, and part 2.

All the pictures are attributed to Laura so I now know how Laura feels when people assume that I’m the one who takes all the pictures.  Just to make it clear, we both take pictures, we both edit them, and both of us post on the blog (the author can be found at the bottom of each post by the comments)!  Now that’s out of the way, here’s a little screen shot of the feature to entice you in, click on it for the original post!

Natalie & Pete – a little bit of video

We loved Natalie & Pete’s wedding rather a lot, and it’s also a really quiet time of year, so we’re overloading the blog with them!  I only filmed few seconds here and there, we had a job to do after all, so most of it is still pictures.

Alex & Victoria’s Portrait Shoot in Manchester

On Sunday we had the pleasure of catching up with our old friend Alex and his lovely fiancé Victoria.  They are getting married this June, and as we can’t take their wedding photos (their date was snapped up!) we decided it would be fun to do some portraits around Manchester instead!  They are very cute together, their wedding is going to be beautiful :-)

Francesca & Mark’s Art Deco Wedding Featured on Rock My Wedding!
