Emma & Jeff’s Wedding at Rudding Park

Peter — Mon, 29 Jan 2018 12:55:45 +0000

What an amazing wedding to be part of! Emma & Jeff were married at St Mary’s Church in Boston Spa before heading off for their reception at the ever beautiful Rudding Park. Despite the amazing locations, outfits, and decorations, what stood out for us at the wedding was just so much love and laughter, this gorgeous couple just radiate warmth – our cheeks were hurting from all the giggles. Plus, it’s not everyday you get to hear a fabulous speech from a bona-fide cricketing legend

The amazing flowers (seriously!) were from Red Floral Architecture and the awesome Tom Harrington was filming the day. That fabulous Ian Stuart dress was from the bride’s own boutique: www.mariamodes.com

Here are a few of our favourites.

Rebecca & Gareth’s Wedding at Rudding Park

Peter — Tue, 10 Sep 2013 12:22:15 +0000

We’d been looking forward to this wedding ever since our portrait shoot with the lovely Rebecca & Gareth back in June. Between Rebecca’s awesome Caroline Castigliano dress, lots of pink balloons, a Dirty Dancing dance number, Rebecca serenading Gareth, and lots of jolly happy people, we were not left wanting!

Rudding Park was gorgeous as usual, and A&G Productions were on video duty.

Here are some of our favourites:

Congratulations Gareth & Rebecca! x

Holly & Martin’s Wedding at Shelley Church & Rudding Park

Laura — Mon, 30 Apr 2012 07:41:09 +0000

Holly and Martin are brilliant.

Holly = funny, energetic and endlessly expressive. She’s a whirlwind. I want to have as much fun as Holly does.

Martin = calm, caring and endlessly surprising. I say that because half an hour before the speeches he told me he was nervous; by the end of his speech everyone was in tears. Half an hour before the first dance he told me he was nervous; pretty soon after he was in a dance -off.

It’s nice to see the groom pampering too

Lovely gifts for the girls…

Holly’s first reaction to her present from Martin (besides crying), “how did he hide this?! I’m going to have to watch him!”…

Brolly time

Time to get that (custom designed by the way) dress on – fondly referred to as ‘the monstrosity’…

Meanwhile Martin was hiding at the back of Shelley Church…

A campervan in the rain

Husband and wife!

We love Rudding Park!

Before we all drowned we made the group decision to do the rest inside

These two can entertain each other forever…

Details details details!

80s party bags for the boys, what a BRILLIANT idea!

If Holly ever gives up her career in nursing, I reckon she’d make a darn good photographer

Holly and Martin’s dog (baby) was really missed at the wedding; her sis and friends made them a little slideshow…

This is the face you pull when you’ve just cut the cake and then it’s announced “Holly and Martin are about to cut the cake, get ready!”…

Let’s pretend it never happened…

Hiding!

Holly and Martin, it was such a pleasure to capture your day! xx

Emma + Stephen’s Wedding at Rudding Park

Peter — Thu, 09 Feb 2012 21:09:44 +0000

Emma has excellent taste in pyjamas. That’s a good start to any wedding day in our experience. Laura has the exact same pair, we were obviously meant to shoot this wedding

It was lovely coming back to Rudding Park again, it’s such a pretty background for a wedding. Plus you can have two cermonies here, who could turn down that? Not Emma & Stephen – they made full use of the place to have a civil wedding and a church blessing. Emma wore a gorgeous Sassi Holford dress which beautifully complemented the elegance of Rudding Park.

Enough words, here are some of our favourites pictures from their day:

Time for some rescue remedy.

A quick trip upstairs for the finishing touches

These people were pros, Berocca before any drinking starts:

Fierce!

Emma & Stephen braved the freezing cold for us – thanks!!

I love cupcakes

Awesome speeches

Thanks for a brilliant day, Emma & Stephen! xx

Romina + Richard’s Wedding at Rudding Park, Harrogate – Part One

Laura — Wed, 25 Aug 2010 11:25:13 +0000

Oh my what a wedding this was! Romina and Rich had thought of everything; the details were spectacular and created a cool, quirky and fun vibe. They chose to marry at Rudding Park in Harrogate (a beautiful place), and had not one but two ceremonies – a relaxed civil ceremony first with close family followed by a ceremony in the gorgeous chapel. They also had a ‘first look’ before walking into the civil ceremony together, which was a lovely moment. Rich hates having his picture taken, and Romina loves pictures – I think it shows how much he loves her that he let us do our thing, and I must say was an excellent model.

It turns out Romina and I already knew each other from uni, we weren’t in the same year but we did dance together (a piece which involved rolling around in a corridor – oh how life is different now!), so there were a few familiar faces at their wedding too!

I’m going to start with the shoes, as they were the first thing chosen for the wedding!

The amazing dress required a trip to Italy…

A fun morning getting ready…

Romina was pretty pleased with her makeup!

Time to go and meet her groom!

Rich was nervously excited!

I just love these…

Hi 5 if you wanna get married!

The civil ceremony was really lovely, short and sweet – just how they planned.

Married!

It was really lovely that their close family could be part of this extra bit of the day!

Time for Mr + Mrs to put their glad rags on for ceremony number two!

Shoe time!

Love. This. Veil.

Romina = stunning.

Rich was being entertained by his best men…

Here we go!

Such a beautiful setting…

The band started playing as soon as they came out of the church, brilliant!

Check out Part Two for the rest of the action!

Romina + Richard’s Wedding at Rudding Park, Harrogate – Part Two

Laura — Wed, 25 Aug 2010 11:24:53 +0000

Time for a few portraits…

I think this is my fave…

We headed down to the log store which I spotted behind the car park (glamourous eh?) the first time we went to Rudding Park. I am obsessed with this location!

Romina got crafty! Love it!

Love and (tug of) war…

Loved the bubble chair!

Now let’s move on to the details, because they were epic. Cake…

The table plan included photos from previous family weddings…

There was a Polaroid guest book complete with props…

…and the most glorious sweety table I almost fell over when I saw it…

There was some fabulous dinner entertainment!

A bit of impromptu dancing!

Lovely speeches…

…and finally the first dance, ‘At Last’ which was sung beautifully by their friend…

Romina and Rich, congratulations and enjoy your Parisian adventure! x
