Shelly & Chris’s Wedding at Mitton Hall

Peter — Fri, 16 Mar 2018 14:59:20 +0000

These guys went all out for an absolutely epic day of laughter and fun at Mitton Hall. Everyone was up on the tables for the awesome singer, Wayne Farrow, then the dance floor was filled as usual by DFC in the evening – alongside Alastair Grant on sax. What a party!

Shelly & Chris also both have a dangerously cheeky sense of humour which had us in stitches all day! The speeches were hilarious, the guest’s cheeks hurt from smiling. I’d say it was a successful day

Family (of which they have a lot!) was obviously a major priority for Shelly & Chris with their daughters and sons all involved in the wedding party. From all the tears in the speeches, it’s obvious what brilliant parents they are.

Our friend Mick from MoviArt was taking care of video duties.

Here are some of our favourites:

Gemma & Christian’s Wedding at Mitton Hall

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][dt_quote type=”pullquote” font_size=”h3″ background=”plain” animation=”fadeIn”]Thank you so much! I love them, I just can’t stop looking at them xxxx[/dt_quote][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It’s always good to end on a high, and our last wedding of 2014 was the perfect finale to a wonderful year!

Gemma and Christian tied the knot on a beautiful crisp winter’s day. Gemma looked absolutely stunning (we have such a love for birdcage veils!), and despite all her good intentions, kept Christian sweating by being fashionably late! Mitton Hall was the perfect venue for their elegant reception, with mince pies and champagne by the HUGE Christmas tree

On with the photos! Here are a few of our favourites…

Congratulations Gemma & Christian, and happy new year! xx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Leanne & Jonathan’s Wedding At Mitton Hall

Peter — Tue, 05 Nov 2013 09:50:27 +0000

A couple of weeks ago, we headed off over to the beautiful Mitton Hall (and the Inn at Whitewell for the groom) on a fabulously wintery day for Leanne & Jonathan’s wedding. We were very lucky to have Mister Phill along with us again – lots of the these pictures are his

So what can I say about Leanne & Jonathan? They’re funny, for one, I didn’t stop chuckling in the morning with Leanne and her bridesmaids, and smiley too – which helps They also wore their emotions on their sleeves, and there’s nothing that we love more than that.

Anyway, here are some of our favourites:

Charlotte & Stuart’s Wedding at Mitton Hall

Peter — Fri, 22 Jun 2012 07:00:41 +0000

It feels like we really got to know Charlotte & Stuart in the last few months, thanks in part to a really fun pre-wedding shoot with them. By the time their big day came around we really felt like we were at a friend’s wedding. Charlotte & Stuart always seem to be having a great time, and their wedding was no exception. We love shooting happy people!

Some details – the wedding and reception took place at Mitton Hall. Charlotte wore a beautiful Jenny Packham dress with some fabulous Rachel Simpson shoes. The flowers were by the ever brilliant Flower Design.

I think they may have spotted me.

Congratulations Charlotte & Stuart! Hope you’re having an amazing honeymoon xx

Jo + Simon’s Wedding at Mitton Hall – Part One

Laura — Fri, 18 Mar 2011 21:59:16 +0000

After a little break from weddings, we were super excited to jump back into it at Joanne and Simon’s big day last week. They are both lovely and funny, it was a total pleasure to hang out with them; and it was extra nice because we recognised lots of faces from Simon’s sister Sarah’s wedding in 2009. Here are a few of my favourites from their day…

How pretty are these shoes?!

Meanwhile Pete was over at groom HQ…

Simon didn’t look too nervous…

A bit of last minute ironing!

Meanwhile the men folk had relocated to the pub…

Dress time!

Adorable moment with sis…

She looked amazing!

People were gathering at the church…

I think this is about the time the nerves kicked in!

Time to get married!

Check out Part Two for lots more pics of their lovely wedding.

Jo + Simon’s Wedding at Mitton Hall – Part Two

Laura — Fri, 18 Mar 2011 21:59:03 +0000

So Jo and Simon just tied the knot and are about to make a run for it in the drizzle…

Then it was off to Mitton Hall for the reception…

The sweety table!

We grabbed a brolly and headed out for a few portraits. When we chatted with Jo and Simon before the wedding they said they hated the idea of posing for pictures. “We’re so bad at it honestly”, “as long as we get ONE good one” etc. Just look at them, laughing constantly = portrait gold!

I can’t repeat what Simon said here. What’s said during the portrait session, stays in the portrait session

I love this one, “put down the lolly and stand here!”. Silly idea doing group photos next to the sweets!

Simon’s dad did a lovely welcome speech…

A bit of dutch courage for the best man, who was seriously nervous about his impending speech!

It was time to get the toasts started…

After all that worrying, it went down a storm!

The first dance…

Then an impromptu dance off!

Congrats Jo and Simon, hope you won big in Vegas! x

Caroline + Craig’s Wedding at Mitton Hall

Laura — Fri, 28 Jan 2011 12:00:54 +0000

After our snowy portrait shoot last month we were really looking forward to Caroline and Craig’s wedding at Mitton Hall. They are both super lovely, the day was relaxed and informal and it wasn’t snowing, hurrah!

A proud mum

A gorgeous Jenny Packham number…

The bouquet was AMAZING!

Craig spent the morning running around doing last minute jobs like a mad man, followed by the journey from hell through crazy traffic with a travel sick toddler. It’s never like that in films is it?!

He still looked pretty happy though

Dress time!

Adorable…

Time to get married!

They each wrote a little reading – so lovely!

We braved outside for a few portraits…

Check out these amazing (and tasty!) cakes…

A dessert buffet!

Time for a few speeches…

The little people warmed up the dance floor…

…ready for the first dance…

Caroline and Craig, CONGRATULATIONS! x

Gemma + Phil’s Wedding at Mitton Hall

Laura — Fri, 15 Oct 2010 14:22:38 +0000

Gemma and Phil had a fabulously relaxed wedding at Mitton Hall, but instead of telling you about that I want to tell you about this…

That’s right, Gemma and Phil gave US a present on their wedding day – ridiculously nice.

On with the photos!

The toast was “Happy Gemma day!”…

Gemma organised an Aston Martin so Phil could rock up in style!

Dress time!

So pretty

I love this one of Phil and his mum…

Married!

Even though we’ve been to Mitton Hall lots of times, we’ve never really explored down the steps…

Gemma’s mum made this fabulous bouquet which was full of little charms. The penguin is my favourite (Phil proposed next to the penguin enclosure at the zoo!).

Great speeches!

Gemma and Phil, thanks so much for a fab day (and a fab teapot!), have fun on your honeymoon adventures! x
