Helen & Matthew’s wedding at the Lodge at Ashford Castle

Helen was one of Laura’s best friends at school so it was extra emotional to watch Helen get married to the wonderful Matthew (an excellent choice of husband if ever we saw one!). We we also excited to be asked to film the wedding in addition to taking the pictures (more of our film work can be found here: www.lawsonfilms.co.uk)

The wedding itself took place at the beautiful Lodge at Ashford Castle in Country Mayo, which is just a gorgeous part of the world. Their humanist ceremony incorporated both Irish and Jewish traditions – as with all the humanist ceremonies we’ve witnessed, it was wonderfully personal.

Andrea & Gavin’s Wedding in Ballymagarvey – Ireland

This was our last wedding of 2012, and what a way to finish! We flew over to Ireland, a country we’ve never visited before but always wanted to go, for Andrea & Gavin’s fantastic wintery wedding.

Thankfully Ballymagarvey Village was a fabulous venue, with so much prettiness (and an abundance of christmas decorations!). It leant itself to a relaxed day too, after the humanist ceremony, the guests could spread out around the house with their mulled wine, and generally feel at home! And it has fairy lights outside. I love fairy lights (that’s not a very manly thing to admit to is it?).
