There were shots during the speeches, Krispy Kreme instead of a cake, Kat & Mike’s adorable dog, and just a general air of giddiness. I wish everyone was enjoying life as much as this pair.

Here are lots of our favourite pictures from the day. I defy you not to smile along!

Danielle & Stephen really wanted us to film, but they also wanted two photographers. So we were really excited to have been able to bring Adam Johnson (arj-photo.co.uk) along to second shoot with us, or ARJ as we like to call him (we’re sure he loves that). He did such an amazing job and lots of his pictures are included below.

Here are some of our favourites, and their highlights film, from this beautiful Thornton Manor wedding.

Natalie & Brendan’s wedding at Thornton Manor was beautiful.  There were pretty Parisian details everywhere (they got engaged in Paris) and rather than have loads of formal pictures they let us run wild capturing the atmosphere.  This was a day full to the brim with laughter; Natalie was the first bride to actually laugh her way up the aisle (and for the rest of the day!).  They are a really lovely pair, who’ve known each other forever (their mums are old friends); we loved spending the day with them.  Congratulations Natalie and Brendan!

You know you’re going to love a wedding when minutes after arriving to shoot the girls they’re all in (happy!) tears  The men meanwhile were all having champagne in a hot tub, that’s how it should be done!  Catherine and David’s wedding was so full of laughter and fun, it was an absolute joy from start to finish.

The sun shone on Thornton Manor, and we were so excited to see a part we haven’t been to before on the expansive grounds, the lovely lakeside marquee.  As the sun was setting they arrived at the evening reception by boat to the cheers of all their guests.  A perfect day for a lovely couple.

Congratulations Catherine and David! xx

Here are some of our favourites from their day!

I feel like I say this a lot, but seriously, everywhere I looked people where laughing, smiling, and basically having the best time! I love a good wedding, and also, kilts.

Here are some highlights:

Congratulations Sarah & Ed, hope you had an amazing honeymoon!![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Pooja & Krishna are both wonderfully smiley, and an absolute joy to be around.  When Krishna first met Pooja he was worried that she was too glamorous to be interested. But who could resist that Mancunian charm?  The attempted character assassination of Krishna in the speeches floundered over the fact that both best men agreed that he was pretty much the nicest person you could ever hope to meet.

Here are some of my favourites from their Thornton Manor wedding day:

The sun shone, and we were treated to our very first outdoor ceremony at Thornton Manor, which was wonderful.

The lovely Laura at Laurel Weddings provided the amazing flowers, Sarah Elliott was on makeup duty, and there were jars of cake – it doesn’t get better than that!

Here are far too many pictures of their wonderful day…

Congrats Jo and Craig! xx

Felicity and Jon are lovely, funny people and it was genuinely just nice to hang out with them for the day.  ‘Queen of the schedule’ Felicity had organised everything to perfection, and despite a rather changeable weather forecast the sun even shone, not sure how she managed that!  Gold Louboutins, ice cream, AMAZING flowers and Thornton Manor…brilliant

Congratulations Felicity and Jon!  Hope you’re having an amazing honeymoon xxx

The weather was crazy – raining heavily, then sunny, then raining again – so we did lots of ducking in and out with Mr & Mrs throughout the day for portraits.  Thornton Manor is one of the few venues where it’s possibly even prettier inside than outside, perfect for such a treacherous climate!  Anyway, on with the photos…
