I'm a big fan of the 85mm f/1.2. It's perfect for portraits with beautiful blurry backgrounds. It is also great for capturing natural shots of guests unawares.
Favourite lens?
I love the speeches. People have completely relaxed (apart from maybe the best man) so you can get some great shots of people being themselves. They are normally pretty funny and heartwarming too.
What's the best part of a wedding?
Everyone is always so happy and it's fantastic to be welcomed into people's families for the day. You're capturing a day that they will remember forever.

ABOUT PETE
I'm pretty much the geek of the two of us so I spend an embarrassing amount of time looking at and reading about wedding photography, cameras, and lenses. When I'm not doing that I love watching films, Father Christmas brought me blu-ray player and a subscription to LoveFilm this year! I'm desperately trying to catch up with 24 too, Jack Bauer is my idol.
My favourite things are cozy jumpers, coffee, red wine, and happy people.
