Portraits

Our approach to portraits is one of style, fun and variety. Responding to the nature of each individual shoot with enthusiasm and fresh ideas. We like this to be a collaborative process, and we are happy to go along with anything you have in mind.

In order to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere, we like to create our portraits on location. We find this is a wonderful way to put you at ease, especially children or those nervous about a 1st time portrait session. Location shoots, or lifestyle photography as it is also known, enable us to capture more genuine images of the subject - there is less pressure to pose a certain way and you can be somewhere you know and feel comfortable.

If you would prefer to be inside, rather than risk the British weather, we have a portable studio which we can set up wherever we can use a couple of plug sockets!

As with all our work, we will cater to your wishes. We would encourage our clients to be creative in their ideas for the shoot so we can work together to create something special and unique.

Digital retouching is included with all our portraits dependent on the client's wishes.
