On Thursday Emma and Andy tied the knot at Mitton Hall (finally, after being together for the past ten years!). These two could not have been happier and were grinning pretty much constantly – fantastic! It really was a happy day with a great atmosphere, the only down side being that they didn’t take us to New York on their honeymoon with them

We started the day at Emma’s Mum and Dad’s where they’d had an emotional morning!

It was a big day for Mum and Dad…

A surprise limo had been organised to take Emma to Mitton Hall for finishing touches!

Sarah & Pete’s Wedding at Mitton Hall

We though when we came back from Morocco that would be the last hot weather we’d see this year – but something crazy is happening in the UK at the moment and it’s gloriously sunny and hot, which made for a fabulous day on Friday for Sarah & Pete’s big day! We’re going to claim that we brought the weather back with us!

Both Sarah & Pete were extremely nervous in the morning, but Pete had a particularly action packed morning trying to sort out a new table plan after a couple of guests couldn’t make it due to suspected swine flu! After the ceremony, or actually as soon as they saw each other at the top of the aisle, they became completely the opposite and were so relaxed, constantly smiling and laughing with each other – just what we love to photograph!

Yvonne & Adam – Slideshow!

Wedding season has now hit with full force which means Yvonne & Adam have been waiting a little while longer than we hoped for their pictures to be ready – and now they are! Thanks for your patience guys, it’s really appreciated!

Mid-week weddings seem to always be fun and relaxed, I think it’s because all the guests have an extra day off work (and normally a long weekend to look forward to) and they make the most of it! Yvonne and Adam got married this Thursday at Mitton Hall after many, many years together. They met each other at high school and have been together ever since – even a few years at separate universities could not split them up!

Here of some of the pictures from their day:

Adam was very excited about his entrance in an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage – and so was I!

Mitton hall is a fabulous venue, but it sure is dark! For the photographers out there – this was shot at f/1.8, 1/100sec and ISO 1600 pushed to 6400 in lightroom.

Adam’s brother did a fabulous job standing in for Adam’s other best man who sadly couldn’t make it back from New Zealand.

The last time we were at All Hallows Church and Mitton Hall was for our friend’s wedding last year and it was wonderful to go back. They are both great venues with bags of character.

Joanne and Craig were a great couple to work with. Neither of them was afraid to let their emotions show on their wedding day, which really helps get some great images. They were both really nervous before the ceremony, but once it was all signed and sealed they let their hair down for a really fun reception. They even braved the arctic conditions outside so we could get a few portraits.
