  • Hello there and welcome to our blog! This is where we post snippets of all our latest work. Pretty much everything we shoot ends up here on our blog - portraits, weddings, all the good stuff! Have a good rummage around if you're feeling nosey :-)

This is us to the right - looking suitably loved up. We're rather easy to tell apart, Pete's the one with the beard.

Kate & Wesley

Kate and Wesley have fantastic taste, as they (like us) got married on a Tuesday at West Tower!  Kate’s amazing dress! The bride looked stunning As did her bridesmaids, who wore foxy black evening gowns! Wesley with his best man a couple of minutes before Kate arrived… Here comes the bride… Love this next one,…

Karen & Daniel

Karen, Daniel and Alex are such a close family and this created the mood for the whole day, it was great to be a part of it.  The weather helped out by being gorgeous – blue skies and fluffy clouds!  Maybe we brought it back from our holiday with us?! On with the pictures! There…

Thankyou to two of the worlds best photographers and also such delightful people. Laura and Peter you helped make our day so very special. You were wonderful and the photographs are just awesome.
We can’t wait to have you back for family photo’s. Just wish we could do it all over again.

Joy & Alan’s Wedding!

We started our weekend with the fabulous Liverpool city centre wedding of Joy & Alan.  They were such a great couple to photograph – our ‘test’ shoot a few weeks ago certainly paid off, though sadly Tubby couldn’t make it to the wedding due to his own holiday plans! With the girls in the morning:…

Louise & Gary

Another weekend, another beautiful wedding! We really do have the greatest job. Louise & Gary had a beautiful wedding in Manchester which was relaxed and intimate.  Both venues were new to us – The Monton Unitarian Church, and the Court House in Worsley, both of which were great locations for pictures! Pretty shoes and beautiful…

Mr & Mrs HigginsonJune 17, 2008 - 3:53 pm

Dear Pete & Laura,

WOW! what beautiful photographs! Since getting back from honeymoon I cannot stop looking at them you really have provide us with some wonderful images of our big day. I love the ones of my hubby looking anxious before the ceremony; he has the same pose he always has when he is nervous.
But most of all we just wanted to say thank you for being such lovely people, you even helped me feel at ease in the morning. We both agree that it felt as though we did not have photographers at our wedding; just two extra friends.

Speak to you soon.
Lots of love

Louise and Gary xx

New Lens!

Nothing is more fun than a new toy, and the joy of our new 85mm f1.2 L lens has not yet worn off!  It’s very pretty, and more importantly it’s good at its job – which for us means it is awesome for portraits, and for low light conditions without flash (i.e. most weddings!). Here…
