On Sunday we had the pleasure of catching up with our old friend Alex and his lovely fiancé Victoria.  They are getting married this June, and as we can’t take their wedding photos (their date was snapped up!) we decided it would be fun to do some portraits around Manchester instead!  They are very cute together, their wedding is going to be beautiful

Last week we had a lovely lunch in Windermere with our friends Stuart and Beki.  Stuart is a photographer too, and just like us they have hardly any pictures of the two of them together (although we have totally nailed the stretchy arm shot of us now!); so after munching we walked down to the lake for some photo fun in the last ten minutes before the sun went down (nothing like a bit of PRESSURE!).

They pretty much giggled the whole time…awesome!

We photographed Mark and Alison’s wedding last November, and they had the lovely idea of a portrait shoot on their anniversary, at the spot where we took their wedding portraits.  Since their wedding there has been a little addition to the family – gorgeous baby Holly.  It was a gorgeous day (unlike their wedding day when it was mostly rainy!), and Mark and Alison were total troopers for charging through all the mud with us!

As we start to wind down for winter and leave wedding season behind us, we have been keeping busy with some lovely portrait sessions.  This shoot was great, as Emily and Olivia are totally adorable – we had lots of fun trying to get some smiles!  On with the photos…

Charlie wanted in on the photos too!

Love this one!  Olivia has only just started walking small distances and she’s not terribly steady on her feet yet – but how cute is this expression!

Wedding season is winding down a little now so we have much more time to do portrait shoots at the moment.  We love shooting portraits for old wedding clients like Lyndsey & Chris whose wedding we photographed a couple of years ago.  It’s so nice to already know the family!  Lucy is a relatively new addition to their family, and her grandparents decided it was time they had some pictures done and got them a portrait session as a christening present, what lovely grandparents!

Lucy and Cassie are both completely adorable, and so well behaved!  They were a pleasure to take pictures of and we really hope we’ve done them justice in the short selection of pictures that follow.  There’s so many that we really love that we’ve had to force ourselves to limit it to under twenty for the blog!
