We got to meet lots of people we didn’t know, lots of people we know on Twitter but have never seen their real life faces of, and lots…  This is the last instalment of pictures from France (I promise!). A meander around the village… All images taken with fuji x100  We spent the final day of our trip to France exploring the Hospices de Beaune, a former hospital for the sick and needy and now an amazing museum. After a lovely lunch with the Lawsons that is… It’s very pretty… The first room we saw… Creepy medical instruments! The pharmacy… All images taken with fuji…  The first time we met Lauren and Brendan was a few days before their wedding, when we drove over to Wales to see their amazing venue. They came all the way from Texas, it was bound to be good! Lake Vyrnwy is so beautiful and peaceful it made us both ‘oooooooh’ when we first saw…  On Monday we found ourselves at a soiree in a fabulous place here in Burgundy (a former resistance cafe full of eclectic market finds). It was a strange evening, involving a collection of hats, some singing and of course plenty of wine  We are currently in Burgundy for a relaxing week with the Lawson clan. Pete’s parents have a lovely house here, and as we had a very rare week off in the middle of summer we seized the opportunity to get out here.
