We had the pleasure of photographing Helen & Phil’s wedding a few weeks ago but we’ve fallen a little behind with our blogging; sorry for the wait guys! We’re getting back on track now though
Helen looked stunning in her beautiful Charlotte Balbier wedding dress (and Emmy shoes), and Phil looked rather dapper too. The reception venue, the Peruga Restaurant, was perfect for a lovely relaxed evening affair – and the views over towards the Peak District were stunning! We’ve never really ventured to this part of the North West but it is rather pretty!
The weather was, for the most part, co-operative. Just one torrential downpour just as Helen arrived (typical!). The perfect British summer day! It makes for more interesting pictures anyway

Luckily, there was a park just opposite the church!
Their wedding car, apparently, used to be owned by a gangster! We had to pay homage (or else).
Some fabulous details, and look at the pretty views out of the massive windows!
The speeches were fantastic! We’d been warned that Helen’s dad was particularly nervous about public speaking. But I suspect he made it all up as his speech was delivered perfectly!
