Francesca & Mark’s wedding at the Cumberland, Bournemouth – Part One

We had an amazing weekend in Bournemouth, topped off by the beautiful wedding of Francesca and Mark.  This was a stunning and unique affair, inspired by Francesca’s love of all things 1920’s.  From the lovely art deco setting of the Cumberland Hotel to the fabulous outfits, every detail was considered and planned to perfection!  We first met these two at their good friends Ayesha and Paul’s wedding last year, so we knew it would be a lovely day with lots of fun guests (and we weren’t disappointed!).  Francesca and Mark have been together for 10 years and are still so visibly crazy about each other, I’m sure there were lots of people thinking ‘”it’s about time”!

That blue sky didn’t last all day unfortunately…

Having seen these, I think there should be a crown for wedding photography and you should be wearing it, though there’d be a his and hers crown of course, and during the shoot they’d be hanging off a hook on the back of your pantry door as you’ve certainly served to elevate your subjects. Francesca & Mark must surely be blown away by these. You’ve fulfilled your duty with exceptional aplomb.

I adore the preparation shots, Francesca looks absolutely stunning and I love the 20s style. You’ve captured wonderful moments during the ceremony especially when the tension broke! Wonderful work as always!!

Francesca and Marks wedding was totally unique and amazing and you have managed to capture the whole thing in the most magnificient wedding photos I think I have ever seen. What a great job to have and how great that you get to share your passion for photography and the experiences together and get paid for it too! You’re a lucky and very talented pair.

[...] & Mike are good friends with a couple of our previous clients: Ayesha & Paul and Francesca & Mark who it was lovely to see again!  We’re also shooting one of the Bridesmaids’ wedding [...]
