We spent most of Michelle & Paul’s wedding enjoying the glorious sunshine in the very picturesque setting of the Langdale Chase Hotel in Windermere. This was actually the first wedding in the Lakes we have done when there hasn’t been torrential rain and flooding – these two definitely had luck on their side!
Apart from the gorgeous venue, there were lots of other awesome things about this wedding. First and foremost, Michelle and Paul are lovely, fun and were so happy to be getting married; the details were fab, and the amazing 70’s band (Wonderboogie) topped of the evening perfectly!

The beautiful bride!

Michelle’s Jenny Packham dress was stunning!

Meanwhile Paul was chilling with his 2 best men in the boathouse

They stopped him from swimming away![]()

The bridesmaids cracked me up! “Wow we’re wearing the same dress!”

Dress time!

Best reaction to putting your dress on? Applause!

Gorgeous!

Nervous?

Love this one!

WARNING! Confetti incoming!

We went for a wander in the lovely grounds…

Awesome tree!

So pretty!

This grubby window is the best background EVER!

Love this one!

Aren’t they cute?

Here’s a sneak peek at the speeches…

In the evening they were dragged along for a boat ride!

Instead of the traditional first dance, Michelle and Paul invited everyone to join them on the dance floor!

Wonderboogie ROCKED!

STUNNING. Michelle’s dress reminds me of our wedding as it’s similar to Julie’s
Love your work… but you know that anyway.
Thank you Laura & Pete for all your hard work on the day. It couldn’t have been more perfect and your photos reflect the fairytale wedding it was. They are fantastic! Karen (Michelle’s mum)
The lighting during the ceremony is SO sophisticated and I love ALL of the lakeside images – jetties and speedboats – great stuff:)
Fantastic images guys! You’ve captured the atmosphere and the fun perfectly! Also, what an interesting wedding, there seem to be so many elements that break from tradition. Great stuff!
Amazing as usual, you guys always ROCK!
Lovely photos of what was a fantastic day. Inspirational to an amateur like me!!
Sue (step-mum of the bride)
ps. Thanks for the photo you took with my camera Peter, of the back of my head for my hairdresser, it’s now in her portfolio!
