On Sunday we finally got the sunshine we had been promised, and luckily we had a wedding to photograph so we could really make the most of it! The weather wasn’t the only thing that was great about Sarah and Matt’s day; they are both lovely for a start, and the venues, details and guests were all great. If there was one thing that made their day special it was all the personal touches – the cake, flowers, place cards and music were all provided by friends and family.

On Friday we had the pleasure of hanging out with Steph and Paul on their wedding day (and taking some pictures of course!). We knew it would be an awesome day as soon as we arrived in the morning to a lovely excited atmosphere – there were tears when the Bride had her makeup done, let alone when she put her dress on! The ceremony was held at St Joseph’s in Kirkby, which is a beautiful and unusual church, and the reception followed at Formby Hall. The only thing wrong with this wedding was a little bit of rain, but nothing could dampen their spirits!
