This was our first wedding at an evangelical church so it was definitely a little different to usual. There was a great sense of community which made the service feel very intimate despite there being lots of guests, and the music in particular was amazing and really added to the occasion. One of the many lovely little touches was a song co-written by Jen for their marriage which was performed during the service.
Jen & Matt are both really into photography themselves so they set aside so much time for their pictures it was amazing. Plus the fabulous weather (and copious amounts of blossom) helped too! Here are some of our favourites from the day:
Shoes, Dress & fab bouquet:
Matt had a little preview in the morning of the song Jen wrote for them:
Loved the texture of Jen’s dress!
Fierce!
Jen & Matt had planned the date of the wedding so they could get some pictures with the blossom trees and so they took us to a nearby botanical garden which has the most photogenic blossom we’ve ever seen! We had so much fun here!
Here’s Jen ‘working it’
A slightly different group shot with the ushers:
Reception details were all designed by Jen, apart from this pretty cake which was made by her mum and a friend:
Speeches:
Chocolate fountains are fun!
Definitely one of my favourite first dance shots ever!
Thanks for a great day, Jen & Matt. Have a wonderful honeymoon! x
