Here are the highlights from Jo & Mike’s fantastic wedding at Hollin Hall. All the photographs are also now available to view in our client area.

We’ve been waiting for this day for a long time – boxes with our logo on them!  What could possibly be better than that??  Laura keeps talking about getting Lawson Photography t-shirts, but one step at a time!

Chloe & Chris are a wonderful couple, and it was a fabulously sunny day so we were even more excited than normal to photograph their wedding.  They had managed to take some time out from their day jobs saving lives and/or fighting fires especially for the occasion. 

We were also excited to photograph our first wedding at Peckforton Castle, which is one of the nicest venues we’ve shot at, although the peacocks were a little bit un-nerving!

On with the pictures!  It was a really busy morning for Chloe who had lots of visitors and well wishers…

We spent yesterday basking in the sunshine at Peckforton Castle.  We were amazed not be dodging rain storms and trying to find nice light, it was truly glorious! 

Pete’s arms just aren’t quite long enough!

We weren’t just at the castle to enjoy the weather and pap each other, we were photographing the lovely Chloe and Chris who tied the knot.  Here are a couple of pictures of the adorable pair…

It would seem the years have finally caught up with me and I have been presented with my very first pair of glasses.  Laura (having worn glasses since the age of 15) assures me that glasses are the ultimate ‘geek chic’ accessory and I’m slowly coming around to the idea!  Thankfully I don’t need to wear them all the time, yet…

Laura took a quick picture today to show the Lawsons senior who are currently sunning themselves in Australia on their retirement holiday (lucky people!).
