On Saturday we had the pleasure of photographing Marg and Chris’s big day.  We haven’t been to Samlesbury Hall for ages, which is crazy because it’s so nearby; it was great to visit again!   These two work ridiculously hard running their printing company Darwen Press, so it was a miracle that they found the time to get married!  It was a fantastic day filled with laughter and log fires – what more can you ask for?!

We also bumped into Sarah Louise Elliott who was in charge of hair and makeup (and did a fantastic job!).  Sarah transformed me for our wedding day, and I would highly recommend her services to any future bride.

We had such a fun time at Joanne & Craig’s wedding at Mitton Hall. We hope the pictures do it justice! The rest of the photos are also now up in our client area.

This week we are catching up with my big sis’ and co who are visiting from Qatar.  As we have hardly any pictures of little Lydia I took the opportunity this afternoon to stock up!  I know I am completely biased, but she is soooooooo adorable!

We’re in the middle of editing a couple of weddings at the moment and I came across this shot of Laura, hard at work.  It’s actually something of a tradition for us to search out a cup of tea during the wedding breakfast.  It’s not always an easy job, but nothing else will do!  The wedding coordinator at a venue we shoot at fairly often thinks this is a sign we’re becoming an old married couple and sometimes asks if we would like a blanket to go with the tea.  Charming!

What I like most about this picture is that Laura actually manages to pull off looking like she’s working, while simultaneously devouring her tea!  It’s a skill I’ve yet to master.
