It’s the quiet time of the year for us now, so apart from catching up on Lost, Heroes, and episodes of 24, we like to spend this part of the year designing albums.  In order to keep us a busy as possible (too many episodes of 24 can do strange things to someone!) we’re offering 10% off all albums in February.

The last time we were at All Hallows Church and Mitton Hall was for our friend’s wedding last year and it was wonderful to go back.  They are both great venues with bags of character.

Joanne and Craig were a great couple to work with.  Neither of them was afraid to let their emotions show on their wedding day, which really helps get some great images.  They were both really nervous before the ceremony, but once it was all signed and sealed they let their hair down for a really fun reception.  They even braved the arctic conditions outside so we could get a few portraits.

Monday weddings don’t come along very often, but they are definitely a great way to start the week!  It was a lovely, intimate wedding, and the reception at Rydal Hall was fantastic – another place we hadn’t been before!

Jayne and Pete are a wonderful couple.  They seem to have time for everyone and make everyone around them feel completely at ease.  This made it a fun day for us too – for much of the day we felt like we were guests – but we did manage to get some work done!  Jayne also makes fabulous hand crafted glass designs which you can see here.

We’ve been meaning to blog for so long, and it now seems a little late to write about Christmas and New Year!  We have just been way too busy creating our new website and gallery, which is finally up and running.  There are lots of fun new features, like the gift registry where clients can set up an account so that their friends and family can contribute towards a wedding album etc.  We’ve had a few requests for this service in the past so we’re really excited to be able to offer it.  You can also now order pretty much everything online; I’ll be posting soon about the easiest way to order albums, it is ridiculously easy now to order them online.

The main galleries are now private, but there will still be plenty of images from each wedding here on the blog as well as slideshows.  We decided to start doing things a little differently, so there’ll be a few images posted a few days after the wedding, and a slideshow when all the images are ready.  That way everyone gets a couple of posts!
