Last week we had a lovely lunch in Windermere with our friends Stuart and Beki.  Stuart is a photographer too, and just like us they have hardly any pictures of the two of them together (although we have totally nailed the stretchy arm shot of us now!); so after munching we walked down to the lake for some photo fun in the last ten minutes before the sun went down (nothing like a bit of PRESSURE!).

They pretty much giggled the whole time…awesome!

Emma and Dan are a really cute couple and we were so pleased they chose us to photograph their big day at Bartle Hall.  The details were totally gorgeous from the dress to the cupcakes, and it had a lovely festive feel that really got our Christmas spirit going! 

I fell in love with Emma’s dress instantly…

Last weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Sophie & Neil’s wedding at Samlesbury Hall.  Having already taken the pictures at Neil’s sister’s wedding in March, we felt a little bit like we were part of the family and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces!  Samlesbury Hall is pretty much the perfect venue for wintery Christmas weddings – the open fires and the beautiful Tudor architecture are very cosy and romantic.  Sophie & Neil’s theme added to that feeling with candles, baubles and wintery leaves – simple and perfect!

Pretty country church.  We did get a little confused when we did a trial run a few days beforehand – the church is in Salesbury and their reception was in Samlesbury – that’s almost too much for our brains to cope with!
