This evening we went to visit the most fantastic coffee shop, which just so happens to be the baby of our good friend Lindsey.  We absolutely fell in love with the place; it’s warm, cosy, and inviting.  It seems like only yesterday when I was working with Lindsey, and we’d spend our days talking about how I wanted to be a full time photographer and she wanted her own coffee shop.  We did it Linds!

We are delighted to have our pictures included in the ‘Lancashire Evening Post Wedding Day 2008′ magazine.  We photographed Emma and Wayne’s wedding back in November, and it was a truly beautiful day so we’re not surprised it was chosen to be featured in the magazine!  We even got one of our pictures on the cover, and on various pages throughout the magazine, so we’re very proud of ourselves!

 

 

 

We often get asked if it’s ok for past brides to submit their pictures to wedding magazines in the hope of becoming one of those ‘featured weddings’ we all steal ideas from!  The answer is “of course!”, just as long as you keep us posted so we can buy lots of copies.  

Benni is married to one of my old university housemates, but he’s also in a band needing some promo shots. So when I went to visit a couple of days ago we grabbed a few minutes to do a couple of moody portraits!

This shoot was a dream for us: a beautiful sunny day, gorgeous subjects, and only a few minutes walk from home!  For some reason Tara and Lee aren’t keen on having their picture taken, so hopefully it was a good practice for their wedding next summer.  These two are so photogenic, we are really excited to shoot their wedding!!
